R Kelly is facing fresh allegations of physical abuse and underage sex.
Following a recent spate of claims that Kelly runs an "abusive and controllng cult" of yong women and aspiring female musicians, another woman – Jerhonda Pace – has come forward and said that she lost her virginity to the R&B singer at the age of 16, one year below the age of consent in the US state of Illinois where the incident took place. She broke off contact with Kelly after claiming: “I was slapped and I was choked and I was spit on” by him.
Pace, who is now 24, alleges that she chose not to press criminal charges at the time, adding “it would probably be like it was last time, where he wouldn’t get convicted”, referring to Kelly being cleared of making child pornography in 2008.
She instead sayd she negotiated a settlement payment, and signed a non-disclosure agreement, which she is now breaking with the new revelations.
Pace said she attended the 2008 court hearings to support Kelly, and that a member of his team contacted her on MySpace afterwards.
For the next seven months Kelly and Pace had a sexual relationship. “I had to call him ‘daddy,’ and he would call me ‘baby.’ He wanted me to have two pigtails, and I had to go out and find little schoolgirl outfits,” she told Buzzfeed.
She also said that she was subjected to the singer’s rules, and endured mental and physical abuse if she broke them.
Her comments come after claims came out last month, that he runs an ‘abusive and controlling cult’ of young women and aspiring female musicians.
The accusations included several accounts from parents who claimed that their daughters were being kept against their will in several houses being rented by the singer.
It is also alleged that women staying at a house rented in Atlanta, Georgia, were ‘trained’ on how Kelly wished to be sexually pleasured while a black SUV is almost always parked outside the house to monitor their movements.
However, Kelly’s lawyer Linda Mensch categorically denied the claims.
